What was your goal? | 6 hrs. in the Ironman 70.3
|
How did CEP help you? | I have some problems with blood circulation in my legs, I also had no cramps in my legs
great for the running portion of the race.
|

What was your goal? | Sub 3 hours at the Boston Marathon. |
How did CEP help you? | Wow. The running socks were unbelievable. My calves and shins felt great the entire marathon. My legs still felt like they some "pop" at the end of the race.
Also, no blisters! That's a first for any marathon I've run!
And the usual next day leg soreness was significantly reduced.
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | Top Notch! They beat the compression apparel from other brands by leaps and bounds.

What was your goal? | My goal with any long race is to not cramp up in the last 6 or so miles of the course. I have consistently had a difficult time finishing a longer race (half ironman or longer) without having my calves cramp at some point on the run. This is very frustrating after all of the hours of training. So my goal was to finish strong without cramping as well as have reduced inflammation and soreness the next few days after.
|
How did CEP help you? | Ever since I started wearing my CEP socks on longer runs (over 13 miles) I have not had one single issue with a calf cramp. At the end of IM CDA I did not have the spastic feeling of "when is my calf going to lock up on me". I probably Rock my CEP socks every chance I get!!
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | People in my running and triathlon groups thought I was a little weird when I started sporting them on longer rides, runs and races. But I absolutely love my two pair. Would probably wear them every day if I could. Really liked the black pair since I can wear them as dress socks to work the next day after a half ironman or marathon :)
|
What was your goal? | Beat my previous IM time of 14:00:52 at IM Arizona and a streatch goal if everything went well of 13:30:00 on a much tougher course at IM CdA.
|
How did CEP help you? | I have a had issues with calf cramping during the swim and run in previous races. I whore my CEP calf sleeves during the whole race (swim, bike and run) at IM CdA and did not have any cramping issues in my calfs....and was able to meet my streatch goal of 13:30:13 shaving 30 minutes off my last IM in wich I did not wear the calf sleeves. |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? |
I wear them both during racing and training to prevent cramping as well afterward to aid in recovery.

What was your goal? | To complete my third IronMan, which was Coeur d'Alene (IMCDA).
|
How did CEP help you? | CEP helped me in my long runs and on race day by giving me good blood flow and no swelling in my feet. Fact of the matter is on race day, I swam, biked and ran with my CEP (white) compression socks. |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I have both the socks and the sleeves and both have been phenomenal in training, races and recovery.

What was your goal? | It was my goal to run the Seattle rock and roll marathon without pain and cramping in my calves. I have developed varicosities and my legs often feel heavy and hot. |
How did CEP help you? | The CEP socks helped increase my circulation through my calves, supported the varicosities and I was able to relax and enjoy the run I had trained and conditioned for! |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | It has been a life-saver and returned the joy to my running experience!

| What was your goal? My goal for IMCDA was 12:30. I finished in 12:22! For a boy for Louisiana (very flat land) going up to Idaho (Very Hilly Land) and coming under my goal was great.
How did CEP help you?
During training i have been having some leg issues so i thought i would give CEP a try. What a difference it makes not only running in my CEP's but also for post workout recovery. I feel stronger longer on the run and recover quicker than before. What else can i ask for! |
|
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I tried another brand before CEP but the were returned the next day. The fit just wasn't right and i didn't think the compression was what it should be. After e-mailing CEP about sizing issues and getting a very quick response i went online and purchased a pair. The fit, compression, everything just felt right about them.

What was your goal? My goal, since living in Boston over 30 years ago was to one day run the Boston Marathon -- it was on my bucket list!!
| |
How did CEP help you? I wore the hot pink CEP knee socks and the compression worked great! In 2008, I qualified for Boston by running the Royal Victoria Marathon even though at 21 miles tearing my calf muscle. The year before Victoria was my first setback, I ended up being medivaced from Juneau, Alaska to Seattle, Washington because of a potential blood clot. I now wear compression hose when traveling. Wearing the CEP socks was a first for me while running and they did work beautifully, no cramping, aching. And, I had the added benefit of people yelling "go pink socks", and "great socks." Would I run in them again -- absolutely! Thank you. Marian

What was your goal? I bought a pair of compression stockings at the expo. As I was planning on walking the race, I thought I would use the running socks to prevent some fatigue and keep my muscles warm. I just wanted to finish the race and not be in crazy amounts of pain.
|
How did CEP help you? I had separated my shoulder playing soccer 7 weeks prior playing soccer and pretty much stopped training for the half. As I flew to Nashville from Chicago and my mother came from Boston, I wasn't going to drop out- I planned on walking the entire half to prevent calf issues and leg pain from the hills (Chicago is flat- I was even more unprepared). My legs felt so great with the compression that I was able to run a fair amount of the course when I expected to walk 90%- I was only 4 minutes off my PR, even with the lack of preparation and unexpected hills! I give serious credit to the socks for allowing me walk the next day :-)
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? I'm a certified orthotist for a top O&P company. Every morning I fit compression stockings on patients for venous insufficiency and lymphedema.... I just never got around to getting a pair designed for active use for my running. After using them for the half marathon and having them save my calves, I won't do a long run without them. I noticed a huge difference in recovery time, and they are great for any athlete- even the slower runner like me! I've already recommended them to my friends and coworkers.

What was your goal? I went into the Boston Marathon with the hopes to squeak under 3 hours and ended up running a 2:51.
|
How did CEP help you? All my training was geared toward a 3hour finishing pace. I had never run a 2:51 (6:30 pace and change) in any of my training runs. The only thing i changed race morning was adding the CEP socks! They clearly minimized the fatigue which allowed me to push a little harder and longer. In addition, the pink socks were a crowd favorite. Since Boston the Pink CEP's have become a staple to my race day wardrobe.
The second half of my race schedule changes to ultras (50's and 100's) and can't wait to get the pink CEP's on the trails.
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products?LOVE the product! I first learned about compression socks when a close friend of mine was in the hospital. Anything that allows you to recovery quick and train harder is ok with me...legally speaking :)

What was your goal? To beat my time from earlier in the year at IM 70.3 New Orleans. This race was Ironman 70.3 Kansas.
|
How did CEP help you? Coming off the bike my legs felt more fresh than ever before, and stayed that way throughout my run, helping me to drop 11 minutes from just two months prior!! Thanks CEP, best compression socks out there!!

Best compression socks out there. I use the socks on my long runs, and my legs feel amazing the next day enabling me to train longer!

What was your goal? | I had surgery for compartment syndrome 3 years ago and my goal was to be able to run again. I have far exceeded my goal and have completed several distance running events and triathlons |
How did CEP help you? | CEP is more comfortable and supportive than other products I have tried. They are wicking which is great for hot and wet runs and they also have prevented blisters. |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I am very happy with the CEP products. I will continue to use them and recommend them to my friends. I used to get "made fun of" because of my "fancy" socks. Now people I know recognize me by my socks! |

What was your goal? | My goal was to win my age group (F50-54) at Kansas 70.3. I won my age group at New Orleans 70.3 earlier this year, but suffered on the run. I wanted to have fresher legs off the bike and have more "spring" on the run. |
How did CEP help you? | I felt great coming off the bike! Kansas was a challenging course with a lot of rolling hills. I expected to be wiped out going into the run. (I tied for the fastest bike split in my age group.) My legs felt great on the run! I kept checking my watch as the splits seemed too easy. I finished strong, with no calf pain whatsoever. I ended with the fastest run in my AG and ended up winning by 10 minutes! I've worn several types of compression socks and by far CEP have been the best. I researched them before buying and was impressed that they were made with medical precision. |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I love the fact that CEP has sleeves along with socks. I wear the socks on my long runs, but the sleeves during triathlons. I live in North Dakota and have to either fly or drive long distances to compete. I never travel without them. They keep my legs from swelling and speed my recovery too. |
What was your goal? | I was injured with a stress fracture in my right ankle, and my goal was to come back at the Seattle Rock and Roll Marathon and run the entire marathon successfully. |
How did CEP help you? | I wore the socks the entire marathon and they really helped blood flow to the feet and legs and helped my ankle feel great the whole way through and get across that finish line! |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I love these socks!! I think I will also have to try the s leeves.

What was your goal? | In Feb 2010, weighing nearly 300 pounds and barely able to run 2 miles, I started running with the hope of completing a 5K for St Pats Day. I did and decided I would try to push and maybe someday run a Half Marathon. I added miles and in Mid April I hurt my Achilles Tendon. I persevered though but it didnt get better. Not wanting to fail in my goal as I lost 50 pounds so far, I tried everything I could think of to get my tendon (and subsequently my knees) back into better working condition. |
How did CEP help you? | Someone suggested compression socks. I tried a long run (12 miles) without them. It took me nearly 3 hours and I ended up very sore. I ran a 6 mile trial with the socks and ended up with zero pain and better pace. I used them for the Seattle Rock and Roll Half Marathon - I FINISHED IN 2:30:10!!! and no - zero -none pain in my heal or knees!!! THANK YOU!!!! |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I will always use them for long runs. I love the CEP socks!
I'm not sure how I send my photo --- I got the LAST pair of green ones!!!! |
What was your goal? | To finish the marathon without pain. |
How did CEP help you? | I had been having horrible shin splints the last 3 weeks of training for the marathon. I had never tried compression socks and saw them at the expo. I bought a pair and wore them for the marathon and didn't have any shin pain. |
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I really like them and have been recommending them to friends since the marathon.

What was your goal? | To complete my 2nd Boston Marathon 2010. |
How did CEP help you? | I have used CEP socks through out my entire winter training in order to keep the blood flow away from my lower legs. In August I was experiencing dizziness and fainting while running (due to low blood pressure) and my cardiologist suggested that I should consider compression socks in order to help keep the blood flow to my upper body. I tried other compression socks and found that they weren't placing the right pressure in the correct spots. Since trying CEP I haven't worn any other socks and I haven't experienced dizziness.....I LOVE CEP!!!
I ran ING NYC Marathon in 2009 and Boston Marathon 2010.

How did CEP help you? | CEP socks have been really good for injury management and leg fatigue control. I've found that they've really helped on quadricep, hamstring, and lower leg muscle cramping. My recovery is at least 50% faster with these socks. I'm sure these socks helped with all the downhill pounding at Boston!
|
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I think they're great - have been using them for about a year now and wear them in all my long distance training runs and races and am going to start using them on the bike this spring and see if they help there too. I recommend these socks to a lot of people!

How did CEP help you? | I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful these socks are.I use them while training, racing and during recovery - which, by the way, is quicker than it's ever been. I'm a believer!
Now I already have two pairs. The first time that I ran with them in a marathon was on Monday April 19 for the Boston Marathon.I beat my PR by 8 minutes. My Boston time 3:37:49. My legs were not as sore like other marathons. It's amazing. One of the best investments Ive made in my running career.

How did CEP help you? | It keeps me from getting any muscle cramping during the entire course even as I pushed my body hard. I completed the marathon close to my goal without any muscle crampings at all.

|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I love the compression socks for running and am looking forward to finding compression socks for skiing/snowboarding at any of my local stores (right now, it's only available online).
I also used to purchase 2XU compression socks and found that the compression on the CEP socks were considerably better.

What was your goal? | To finish the Boston Marathon despite injuries to my ankles.
|
How did CEP help you? | I have been plagued with ankle injuries since I qualified for the Boston Marathon back in 2008. My training for the 2010 marathon was going better than expected. I was confident and excited and then.... tendinitis in my ankle just 4 weeks before the big day. I took a week off from running following the RICE method of recovery. I wore my compression socks every day during that week. Then I started to run again and wore my compression socks during runs as well as afterwards for recovery. I would have never been able to not only finish Boston but also finish with a qualifying time for next year without my CEP compression socks. They have been a lifesaver for me (and my family too who knows that Mommy without a run can be a little edgy!)
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | Well, as I mentioned, after my injury, I have been wearing compression socks every day. Since I only own 2 pairs (both CEP brand), I was constantly washing them. As Boston approached I wanted to order another pair and decided to try a different, cheaper brand. I received the new socks, tried them on and immediately shipped them back. They could not compare to CEP. My husband told me that I should not bother trying another brand because CEP is the best (he is also a fan but prefers the calf sleeves). So from now on, I will only buy CEP brand compression socks and I have spread the word about the healing power of these socks. I am thankful to have found them and will continue to use them as I train for my next Boston Marathon.

What was your goal? | To finish the Boston Marathon under 4hr.
|
How did CEP help you? | My running was extremely consistent start to finish. The socks gave me a sense of support, but did not feel tight or hot. I was a little nervous about wearing them for the first time in a marathon, but I barely knew they were on. I did a 3:53, two minutes better than last year, PLUS I lost about 5 minutes getting a distressed runner to a medical tent.

What was your goal? | To complete the LA Marathon under 4 hours, have fun and feel good while at it. I surpassed my goal and finished in 3:48!
|
How did CEP help you? | I discovered CEP compression socks 6 months ago and have worn them on almost all of my training runs in preparation for the LA marathon. I immediately felt the difference when I wore them; muscle cramping went away and less fatigue in my legs. The socks have helped speed my recovery. I especially noticed between mile 15-17 of the race, after a very steep downhill, my calves started to cramp big time, and I fully believe that compressions socks saved me. After a few minutes, the cramps went away when the course evened out again and I cruised all the way to the finish feeling great.
I will always race with them now. Thank you CEP!
|
Tell us your thoughts about CEP products? | I love the fit, feel and design of CEP socks. No other compression socks on the market compares to them. I'd like to collect all the colors and would love to see them in a charcoal/gray color.
